Health Hazards
In 2011 2/3 of Americans lived in smokey areas due to wild fires. Millions of residents became effected by the smoke from these wildfires also known as second hand smoke. Illinois reported no wildfires but was second for the most people affected by wildfires because of the smoke traveling in the air. 22 states didn't have any occurrences of wildfires but eight of them still had smokey skies.
